Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in prospect visits and conference calls, provide product demonstrations in person and via WebEx, and work with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how SlashNext solutions can provide value to them. 
  • Plan, manage and execute successful customer product pilots (POCs). Communicate SlashNext value based on activities and work with customers on any identified issues or concerns to drive successful conclusion of POC.
  • Technically close complex and competitive opportunities, through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill and credibility.
  • Provide exemplary Pre-Sales technical expertise through technical and product presentations, product demonstrations, beta program administration, consistent communication, and on-going technical consultation kind of repeating first bullet.
  • Work with the sales team to strategize on sales approaches.
  • Provide technical escalation management and first level technical support within accounts.
  • Play a pro-active "Technical Account Management" role within your target accounts and VARs driving trusted relationships and business development activities.
  • Take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our Pre-Sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online, and via telephone very similar to first bullet.
  • Proactively engage and communicate with customers and SlashNext business/technical teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science /Computer Engineering or related discipline
  • 4 years of directly related technical experience including: installing, designing, managing, administering and supporting an enterprise network. 
  • Comfortable contributing at all levels within targeted accounts.
  • Previous experience selling, installing and supporting cyber-security products preferred. 

Skill Set:

  • Highly energetic & self-motivated individual with outstanding professional, sales, and technical capabilities.
  • Passion and ability to educate customers on security risks that are relevant to their business.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills. This role requires an ability to understand and articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical advantages of the SlashNext product line.
  • Experience selling to and supporting mid-market as well as Enterprise customers.
