SlashNext Accelerates Market Traction with 100% Business Fulfilled Through The Channel

SHI International Signs Agreement to be a SlashNext Anchor Partner

Pleasanton, Calif., Dec. 12, 2017 – SlashNext, a provider of
fourth-generation Internet security solutions, today announced
its commitment to 100% channel fulfillment through 11
channel sales partners, including SHI International Corp., one
of North America’s top 10 largest IT solutions providers.
The new partnership agreement will allow SHI customers
better access to the SlashNext Internet Access Protection
System. The SlashNext system goes beyond previous
generations, including network-based, signature-based and
sandbox-based technologies by deploying human-like
intelligence and cognitive thinking to stop Internet attacks
that target unsuspecting employees as their entry points.
“We are very selective about the Internet security solutions
we put in front of our customers. We look for offerings that
can augment existing architectures with powerful new
capabilities without disrupting what is working or adding
more work for the IT administrator,” said Ed McNamara,
Senior Director of Communications and Marketing, SHI
International. “We are thrilled to partner with SlashNext and
take their unique solution to market.”
“In this age of evolving threats, no company can defend itself
alone. American Showa works with SHI as strategic partner
because they can bring security providers that work as hard
to prevent security issues as those wishing to commit one,”
said Sean Henry, Senior MIS Manager at American Showa.
“We are deploying SlashNext as an additional layer of protection
against cross-platform social engineering and phishing,
malware, exploits and callback attacks. They represent the
outside-of-the-box and next-level thinking that SHI
consistently highlights that we need in an ever-morphing
threat landscape.”
SlashNext has chosen a focused channel sales strategy to
jumpstart rapid growth based on its low friction sales cycle,
with add-on services that partners can deliver, including
penetration testing, security gap analysis, analysis and
decision support, and remediation. In addition, the company
offers a full set of threat intelligence services that can be
resold by channel partners, along with funds for joint marketing
and field activities.
“We are honored to partner with SHI. Their customers are
among the most security-conscious and will quickly understand
why SlashNext is different. Preventing accidental workforce
behaviors that open the door to cyberattacks is not something
you can train employees about – and if there is a technology
that can act like an employee but think like a hacker, why not
get it to work for you?” said Seamus Meagher, Vice President
of Business Development/Channels at SlashNext.
The SlashNext solution can be fully deployed within just 20
minutes, and it serves as an ideal complement to existing
sandbox, next-gen firewall and anti-virus solutions.
The SlashNext channel program is being launched
nationwide in December. For more information, visit:

About SlashNext
SlashNext has reinvented Internet threat prevention systems
with a new approach to protecting users and systems every
time they connect to the Internet.
The SlashNext Internet Access Protection System, is a cloud
powered solution that leverages cognitive computing, a
process that mimics how the human brain senses, reasons
and responds to stimulus, to process and detect complex
and interlinked Internet access attacks including social
engineering and phishing, malware, exploits and callbacks.
SlashNext CEO Atif Mushtaq founded the company after
serving nine years as a senior scientist for FireEye, where
he was a leading architect of the company’s core malware
detection system based on signatures and sandbox based
technologies. Atif has been at the forefront in the fight against
cybercrimes and has worked with law enforcement and other
global organizations to take down some of the world’s biggest
cybercrime networks. In 2012, his efforts took down one of
the largest email spam networks operating out of Russia,
causing the worldwide spam level to drop by 50% in a single
day.
